So people can cry over the Airbenders Genocide by the Fire Nation but not the Palestinians happening in real time?! Got it!

Aadil was growing more enraged by the minute as he saw social media post after post as the live action adaptation of Avatar the Last Airbender took over the internet. While nothing would ever compare to his favourite anime inspired series. He had to admit the live action did a solid job.

It even filled in visually something alluded to in the original anime that was never shown. The ethnic cleansing and genocide of the Air Nomads by the Fire Nation. But for Aadil the more he read about people’s reaction to the emotions of the show the angrier he was becoming.

Palestinians are literally being removed from existence in a live streamed campaign by Israel! Maybe if you white people cared enough it would stop

Was his post on social media.

Immediately he was attacked.

Stop making this about race bro. It’s a complicated issue and that’s a show.

Oh man another social justice warrior. Maybe don’t just talk about one side.

Can’t we just enjoy our shows without people like you ruining them.

I said what I said. The vast majority of people supporting the Palestinians are black, and brown. To the white allies they won’t get offended because they know who they are. To the rest of you hiding behind Anti-Semitism. Let me ask you a question? If I as a Muslim criticize Saudi Arabia, Iran, or Pakistan for their human rights violations am I Anti-Muslim. Or is a state different than a religious identity? Israel is the fire nation, and the fire nation spends the rest of this series trying to crush Aang and his friends for fighting back?

Is Aang a terrorist. Or does Aang hate all Fire Benders?

But as he settled down in the prayer hall a message popped up on his phone.

Trying to calm his rage, Aadil looked at the Imam (prayer leader) who was beginning his sermon.

Maybe if there was a fictional show about the Palestinians the world would care like they do about Aang?
